Aiscan, a consolidated reference in the manufacture and commercialization of electrical conduit and conduit systems in Spain, redefines industry standards with its new line of High Resistance cable trays (C8), certified by AENOR. This launch is the result of a constant effort to innovate and improve the quality that has always characterized the company.

With more than four decades of experience in the sector, Aiscan has established itself as a leader in the electrical industry, specializing in the manufacture and marketing of electrical cable conduction and conduit systems. In its continuous quest to innovate and raise industry standards, Aiscan has gone one step further with the launch of its new range of Heavy Duty cable trays.

C8 heavy-duty cable trays are available in blind and perforated grid and rolled steel versions. They have been designed in compliance with the strictest requirements of the international standard IEC 61537. They have also passed all the quality tests defined by the European regulatory framework, achieving the highest level of corrosion resistance existing for galvanized steel trays (C8) by AENOR, .

They are designed for use in corrosive environments, with different levels of corrosivity, as well as in indoor environments, dry or humid. In addition, these trays offer an unprecedented level of surface protection, even at the edges, in the most hostile environments. This breakthrough has been validated by exposing the trays outdoors in desert environments and have spent more than 1,000 hours in neutral salt spray (NSS) testing according to ISO 9227, without the appearance of red rust.

Aiscan has always been committed to R&D in highly efficient anticorrosion materials, as is the case of the zinc coating called R1000+, exclusive to Aiscan, which is used in its High Resistance C8 wire mesh cable trays. Now, it continues to expand the range and to provide innovative solutions by using new materials in blind and perforated cable trays, with an optimal result against corrosion. In addition, its surface finish is completely smooth, which avoids the inconvenience of burrs that are common in traditional hot-dip galvanizing.

The C8 range of high-strength cable trays is also characterized by maximum structural rigidity, which provides a higher level of strength and safety. In addition, the recessed flange perforations help to increase the permissible working load, which also features a quick and snap-in connection system thanks to a flange system.

In the words of General Manager, Antonio José Francés Pérez, “our R&D team has worked tirelessly to develop a product that sets a new standard in corrosion resistance. These cable trays are the result of that effort and we are proud to bring this technology to the market, also certified by AENOR, for the peace of mind of our customers.”

In addition, Aiscan has developed the fastest assembly system on the market, called UNIFAST, which comes pre-assembled on some of the C8 tray models. This system offers numerous advantages, such as savings in assembly time (up to 34%), price reduction due to the elimination of screws, nuts and other accessories, and an improvement in mechanical strength (CTA) of up to 22%. In addition, this system contributes to a considerable improvement in electrical continuity.

The Spanish firm Aiscan is proud to launch this innovative product line, reinforcing its leadership in the electrical sector and demonstrating its commitment to continuous innovation, high quality product development, environmental commitment and customer satisfaction.
